There is nothing better than spending time with your family and celebrating Christmas. I don't know how much I will blog while I'm home. Big NeWS!!!!

Will has applied to go to Oakland Community College and we will know this week if he can start school in January. I am sooooo excited for him. He so deserves to go to school and he will finally have the opportunity to out here. WOO-HOO!!! GO WILL!!!!!

HellO Again Good Ol' MiChiGan!!!

Yes, it's official. Will n I made it back home in Michigan. We had so much fun Utah and it was reallly hard to leave. We had quite the experience on the tarmac waiting for our plane to take off. The pilot got on the speaker and told us that the plane was having mechanical issues and we wouldn't be taking off for a while, so we sat in the plane for over an hour before we finally got to take off. I was really nervous cuz I could see the mechanics outside working on the plane and sitting there for an hour, your mind tends to wonder and I started freakin myself out. Will pretty much slept through the whole ordeal which is great, I wish I could have. Ne ways besides that our flight was good. We got back to Michigan and it was SNOWING!!! I was so excited I wanted to come home immediately and put up my Christmas decor... but I didn't...yet!!!! Will quit his job and is going to be working for a water treatment plant. I am back in the grind of school and I decided that in order for me to stay awake and make it through these long next three weeks, I am going to totally need to drink at least one mountian dew a week. This is big for me becasue I used to drink soda when I was younger but I quit in high school and now I am going to start again all for the sake of an education. I'm going to post some pics of how pretty it is out here with the snow on the ground and some pics from our trip home. It was so fun to have Thanksgiving early with both of our families and just to see everyone was the best!!!

Will

So today is mine and Will's engagement anniversary. It has been two years since Will proposed to me. I know it might seem kind of silly having an anniversary for our engagement but it was one of the best days of our lives. We had been through a lot together at that time and when Will told me he loved me and wanted to be with me for all eternity, I felt like the luckiest girl in the world. I just wanted to take a second to blog about Will and how grateful I am for him. Never in my wildest dreams would I have imagined that I would really go to Law School, that was until Will encouraged me and promised me he would take care of us so I could fulfill this dream. He works so hard every single day and when he comes home at night all he wants is to see how my day was. He is the best. I am so happy to have Will as my husband. I'm a very blessed girlie!!!
_peace out

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!

Hey everyone!!! We want to wish ya'll a very Happy Halloween and hope you have tons of fun!!! We put up our goblin decoration tonight with some scary music playing and it turned our really cute. We even had a few trick or treaters so we're excited. We had one lady tell us she loved our decorations and one little boy who took off running when he heard the creepy music. I felt bad so I explained to him that it's fake and it's only a decoration then loaded him up with some candy so he was happy. Also, since we didn't really have anything planned out as far as costumes go, I went to the store and bought us Michigan State T-Shirts(Go Spartans) for our costumes. I can't believe how competitive Michigan State and University of Michigan fans are. We were standing outside putting up our decoration and a couple walked by and said to us, Hi, GO BLUE(University of Michigan) cuz we had our Michigan State Shirts on. It was pretty funny. Our neighbor downstairs came over for dinner and we cooked some steaks and dutch oven potatoes. It was a really great Halloween and we hope you all are having a great one too!!

Will carving out the top

Carving out the face

CarVin the GINORMOUS puMpKiN!!!

So yesterday night Will n I took on the job of carving out our 100 lb pumpkin. I thought it was going to be so hard and it would take us forever. I was really shocked when we cut the top off the pumpkin and there wasn't hardly any seeds inside. It only took us about a 1/2 hour to carve it up. It's soooo cute. We both really love it. Hope you enjoy it too. We're trying to bring in some trick or treators with all our decor and stuff cuz I stocked up on candy and I'm going to make some popcorn balls to give out. So hopefully we get some kids or Will and I are going to be really full come Halloween night!!

Driving up to my School

This is a picture of what I see every morning driving into my school. It's sooo pretty. There are huge trees that line the whole driveway. It's like having a school right in the middle of the forrest. I LOVE IT!!!

My School!!!

This is the front doors to the Cooley Law School. It's only about 1 year old and it's soooo nice inside. They have brand new everything and it's all top of the line!!! I am really liking school and even though it's really tough, I know it will be worth it.

Chrysler Headquarters Building

The Chrysler Building

I get to drive past the Chrysler Building every morning when I leave school. It's one of the most beautiful buildings I've ever seen and it's huge. This picture doesn't do it justice. My school is actually right across the street from Chrysler headquarters.

Fire Hydrant Red Bushes!!

It' s so amazing how many colors the trees turn here. They get so bright and pretty. These were our green bushes about two weeks ago and now they are red as the fire hydrant behind them.

CrAsH!!!!!!!

Okay so we had quite the experience today coming home from church. Will wanted to show me this huge castle he saw the other day so we took a little detour from our normal path home. We checked out this huge castle which we found out was like a huge Christmas store and diner and like reception hall. I keep saying huge cuz it was HUGE!!! It was seriously like three blocks long. Anyways, we were on our way home and it had been raining cats and dogs and we were on Baldwin. We live just off Baldwin but we were on the North end where there is always traffic. We were cruising right a long when all the cars in front of us slammed on their brakes and Will well being quite the Michigan driver waited a little too long to brake and when he did I looked in my mirror and saw a saturn slam on their brakes and swerve to the right to avoid us, unfortunatley for him the dodge truck behind him didn't swerve to get out of the way. The truck hit the saturn which his our jetta!!! YIKES!!! I yelled Look at the Saturn just in time for Will to swerve to the left to avoid a total crash. Will was so mad and I was just in total shock!! We pulled over with the other two cars only to find out we had not a scratch or dent on the Jetta!! Will talked to the guys and they worked out their insurance issues and we headed back down the road. I am sooooo glad that nothing happned to our car and to any of us!!! Afterwards, we just couldn't help but laugh cuz it was soooo crazy. Ne ways the Jetta is doing great and Will and I are okay dokey too!! Will n I also want to give a CONGRATS shoutout to Mitch and Kirstie Moore. They had a little boy, Braxton Mitchell Moore and we are sooo happy for them. I took my final for my Intro to Law Class last Friday and I'm so glad I will now have Friday nights to spend with Will. We went to the movie last night and we decided to go see W. the movie about George W. Bush and we both thought it was the dumbest movie ever!!!! We left about 45 minutes into it. I can't explain exactly why we didn't like it but it was not entertaining at all. So we decided to walk around the mall since we were there. We watched UFC last night and we saw such a good fight between Anderson Silva and Patrick Cote. I was so bummed when Cote's knee got hurt and they had to call the fight. There totally needs to be a rematch between those two when Cote is healthy. Anyways... peace out and have a super great day!!!

Trip to the Detroit ZOO!!!!

So today I surprised Will and we took at trip to the Detroit Zoo. It was soooo much fun. We seriously had a blast. We saw soooo many fun animals. The first thing Will said when we pulled in was I can't wait to get some junk food at the snack bars. He has been working out so much lately and we both have been watching what we eat, but Will let that fly out the window for the day at the Zoo. He put down a small pizza, cheeseburger, bag of chips and a lemonade in no time. It was really fun because they had the whole Zoo decorated for Halloween. They had so many pumpkins carved. We saw Mickey Mouse pumpkins, baseball ones, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Pumpkins, the Adams Family pumpkins, the Simpsons pumpkins, basically you name it and they had it carved or painted on a pumpkin. We saw some huge rhinos!! I couldn't believe how big they were. One of them was running and charged at this barrel toy it had and threw it in the air. We also saw a huge chimp that I thought for sure was a gorilla becuase of its size but it wasn't . We saw bears, tigers, lions, snakes, kangaroos, elk, deer, zebras, hippos, giraffes, donkeys, eagles, and so so much more. My favorite part was well just being with Will and also I loved the Hippo and the Polar Bear. When we were at the Elk Exhibit this cute little girl walked by and said Dad look, it's elfs!!! I was laughing so hard. Her dad said no honey they are elk and she said no dad they are elfs!!! We rode a little virtual reality ride they had which made us both kind of sick to our stomachs and before we left we had to ride the train around the Zoo. It was sooooo much fun and I'm so glad we finally got to spend a whole Saturday together. Time is so precious to us because Will is always working or working out and I'm always studying or doing something related to school. I am really grateful we got to go to the zoo today. We have Stake Conference tomorrow and I am really exicted. It's in a town we've never been before called Grand Blanc. On a little bit different note, I just need to express my gratitude and gratefullness to the Gospel in my and my husband's lives. We are so truly blessed daily. I have been having a really hard time with my grandpa dale being so sick back in Utah and knowing that I am out here in Michigan and the only thing that seems to comfort me is knowing that Families are Eternal. I love my family and all my friends so much and I appreciate all of you in our lives. I again just want to express my love for my grandparents and I know this is a hard time and you are in our prayers always!!!

HI-YAH!! I was rockin' out with the Teenage-Mutant Ninja Turtles made out of pumpkins!!

Will chillin' with a lion

Will with a seal

So I was trying to get a nice picture with my hubby with a seal in the background and right as I went to take the picture the Seal turned around, so I ended up with a picture of my cute hubby and a seal's bum!!!

Oh isn't it nice to be tall.

Me with the Hippo

I think that hippos are seriously the cutest animal, so Will made sure we got a picture of me with the hippo!!!

The Rhino(He was HUGE!!! Like almost 8,000 lbs!)

Midterm Results....

Hey everyone I just wanted to fill ya in on my midterm results. I didn't want to post anything until I got all of them back. I did really well on my contracts midterm and I was a little nervous I didn't do well on any of the others so I waited until I got all of them back before posting anything. Anyways, I got the second highest score on all my midterms in my classes!!! WOO-HOO!!! I am not saying this to brag, merely to express my gratitude for prayer, scripture study, sleeping very few hours while studying and cramming my brain with so much info. I guess it all paid off. Now I just have to keep going and make it through finals in December and I should pass my classes!! I made some pumpkin chocolate chip cookies yesterday and they turned out delicious. I ran out of vanilla extract so I added a little orange extract and oh my goodness, they turned out better than any I have ever made before. I also heard my Grandpa Dale is doing a little bit better, so thanks for the prayers for him and please continue to remember him in your prayers!!! Peace out!!

Halloween Sugar Cookies

Today instead of doing all of the laundry and cleaning I needed to do, I decided to do something that is way more fun. I made Halloween Sugar Cookies. They turned out really cute and yummy too. I was talking to Dylann this afternoon on the phone and she asked what I was doing and I told her making sugar cookies and she told me my mom says i'm gonna make some too. It was so stinkin cute. I ran out of icing and decided to freeze the rest of the cookies instead of make more icing. Will went to the store for me to buy some cookie cutters and I told him to get a pumpkin, ghost and maybe a bat or something. He came home with $40 worth of cookie cutters. I now own almost every possible Halloween cookie cutter. Thanks honey!

Burnin' the Midnight Oil!!

So yesterday I didn't have class and I was so excited to have a day off. I had wanted to bake some Halloween Sugar Cookies and get our house all clean and catch up on laundry but that did not happen. Will's boss told him that he needed to have this house he was painting finished yesterday. Will asked me if I would go help him paint and get finished. We went to work at like 7 am and drove to this super cute small town called Almont. It reminded me sooooo much of Minersville. When we got to the house, I figured we would probably be ther until like 5 o'clock and then we'd be finished but Oh WAS I WRONG!! We painted from 8 in the am until 4 am!!!!! It was the longest job but we had so much fun working together. We had the radio blasting and we were rockin out. By 2 am, I was so tired that the only thing that kept me going was thinking that in a couple hours I would be in my bed sleeping and Will would be getting a nice paycheck. We went to a little fast food place called "Charlie Browns" for dinner and it was yummy. This town is seriously the cutest town that I've been to so far in Michigan. They have a little farmer's market and that is where Will bought my ginormous pumpkin and we also buy lots of corn from there too. We are going to go back there sometime this coming week or the following to watch the Almont Raiders Football team and I will take some pics of how cute the town is. So we went to bed at 5 am and woke up at noon. We are both pooped out!!! So today I am going to do laundry, clean my house, do homework, and hopefully if I have time, bake some sugar cookies!!! My dad and mom told me today that my Grandpa Dale is in the hospital up in Provo and I just wanted to say that I hope he gets better and him and my grandma Carla and I hope everything is okay!! Also, I got to talk to my Grandma Oma today and it was awesome. I was about in tears because Ellen called me from her work and said I have someone that wants to talk to you and it was Granmda Oma!!!! I'm so happy I got to talk to her. Thanks Ellen!!!! Hope everyone has a great day!!

MIDTERMS!!!

Hey everyone!! So this week is Midterm Week and I am really nervous but also really excited to see if I can remember all of the information I've been learning. I know I should be studying but I am in the library at Cooley right now and I desperately needed a break from school work so I decided to blog. Will and I are both enjoying the fall out here. It' soooo green still but some of the trees have started changing colors. The other day I was in the library studying and right outside my window there were two whitetail bucks. It was awesome, I tried to get my camera on my phone to work so I could text a picture of them to Will. Everyone in the library said as we get deeper into Fall lots of deer will show up on the grounds of our school. I took my midterm for Contracts today and honestly it was pretty rough but it gives me a good idea of what I need to be doing to prepare for the final in December. Will n I watched Conference yesterday(well I did Will slept) and it was great. I really enjoyed President Cook's talk. Will has been burning the candles at both ends as he likes to say. All of last week he worked his full time job and then we went out to a friend's condo at night and painted it to earn some extra money so Will can come home for the Elk Hunt in November. I am so truly blessed to be married to Will. I have never seen anyone who works as hard as he does. We have both been working out lately over at our friend's gym. It's so nice to have a hubby to work out with and especially since it's Will cuz he is sooooo motivating. He makes me want to run 10 miles everyday on the treadmill. But that never really happens, although maybe someday it will. Tonight for FHE I'm going to surprise Will and take him bowling or to a Cider Mill, I haven't decided yet. There is so much to do here, it's hard to fit it all into our schedule. I need to get back to my Torts Homework and studying so peace out and I'll put some pictures on later tonight or tomorrow if we go to the Cider Mill!!!!

Happy Birthday Ronzilla!!!

Hey everyone!!! So today we celebrated our friend and insurance agents birthday. His name is Ron Williams and we are getting to be pretty good friends with him. His birthday was actually yesterday but he had plans so we invited him over to our house tonight. We got him a chocolate birthday cake with candles. He was super suprised when we brought it out and started singing to him. It was lots of fun. The rain finally stopped (for now) and the sun is out again. It starting to get pretty chilly at night and early in the morning. It's nice to see fall starting. I can't wait for the leaves to change here. Will has been staying busy painting for Dave and he has met some friends in the Ward that he had been hanging out with. I have been well.......briefing cases and briefing cases and briefing more cases. I think I'm getting the hang of it but it's a really tricky process to learn. Anyways, we are going to get some sleep so take care and peace out!!

More Rain

Can U Say Rain Rain Go Away

It's been raining since 6 last night. It's so crazy. Now I know why Michigan is SOOOO green. Our umbrellas are our new best friends. Will got out of the Jetta earlier today to get gas and just being outside for like five minutes, he was drenched. I think that the amount of rain we've received in the last two days would've filled the M-town Reservoir!!

This is the entrance to the Detroit Temple!!!

Detroit Michigan Temple

Today was our first day going to the Temple by ourselves and our first trip to the Detroit Temple. It was soooo beautiful. We had a blast.

Saturday, September 6, 2008

This is one of the turtles we saw swimming in a little pond on our bike ride. Will was freakin out at how big this turtle was. There was also lots of little snapping turtles in the pond.

Ridin' the Betty!!!

Today we went for a 12 mile bike ride on this sweet bike trail. Our friend Ron went with us. It was sooooo much fun. It was six miles down and six miles back up the trail. I can't believe how pretty it was. We saw huge turtle swimming in ponds and there were fish everyone in the rivers. It was sooo much fun. I decided that is going to be my new running trail because there is so much shade.

WHOA!!!!!

Hey everyone this is going to be short cuz I have soooo much work to do, but I just wanted to say that I made it through the first week of law school. WOO-HOO. I can't say the same for a lot of my class members. We had quite a few kids decide this wasn't the career path they wanted. Will is doing great. He got a raise at work and has been fixing up our Jetta. He is actually putting some new brakes on it right now with a friend Ron and our neightbor Mike. I just finished my last class for the week and let's just say I'm a little overwhelmed, but it's all good, if it wasn't hard it wouldn't be worth it. I go to school three days a week and I have an extra class on Friday nights to learn about writing essays and analysis. I have decided that I will probably study from 30-35 hours a week. It's crazy but I guess it's just law school. Tomorrow sometime Will n I are going to go ride our bikes on a trail and have a picnic to get away from the books for a couple hours. The weather is gettin a little chilly here and really humid. We love you all and if anyone has any words of widsom or encouragement please feel free to post them on my blog!!! HA HA!! Thanks n love ya all!!

September Already!!

Wow. I can hardly believe it's already September. I start school tomorrow and I spent all day doing homework for class tomorrow. This law school thing is definately going to take me out of my comfort zone. We were warned in orientation that you should expect to be called on in class everyweek to recite a case. I have found that briefing is pretty tricky but I think as time goes on and I learn more techniques it will get easier. Will n I went golfing for Family Home Evening last night at Mulberry Golf Course in Oxford. It was soooooo much fun and it was sooo pretty. We were totally out in the farm land area. It felt like being on the Milford Flat. There was one whole on the cours that you had to tee off over a big pond. I hit about five balls in the water before I hit on and landed it on the green. Will is such a good golfer. He wants to join a league somewhere around town. We are looking for the cheapest golf course for him to join. Some courses around here charge 50 bucks per person for nine holes. Ne ways, we talked to Dilly Bop and Nix tonight and I wanted to tell Nix that I'm super proud of her home run in school today and thanks to Dilly for singin some What Mine Done!!!! It was great. I'm soooo grateful to be here in Michigan and to have this opportunity to fulfill one of my dreams and also to have a great hubby and family and friends supporting us. We love you all and PEACE OUT!!!!

August 29, 2008

Hey all!!! Will n I are doing great!! Will got his first paycheck from his job and we are both really excited. He has been working on reposessed homes and this week he has been down on a big lake working on like a ten-thousand square foot home. He says its beautiful. I have been attending orientation for school. Talk about overwhelming!!! I think they try to scare ya to death your first term!!! I also went to Lansing for another part of orientation and it was ok. I'm not a big fan of Lansing, I guess I just really love Auburn Hills. I feel like I learned more in orientation than I did from the first couple years of college. I can tell it's going to be intense and stressful but I know I can do it. Will is soooo supportive too. We went to dinner last night with a lady named Tammy from Utah and a couple from Arizona, Chris and Heidi and their little girl Alexis. Chris and Tammy are going to be going to school with me and they are LDS so that makes is super great. We went to a Mexican place called On the Border. It was really good. Their chips were half the size of a tortilla and the salsa was really good. I had to go shopping for a dress suit before orientation and Will n I had quite the experience. I probably tried on 30 suits and not one of them was long enough for me. It's hard for me to understand why more stores don't make tall clothes. But hey it's all good I found some dress pants and made them work. Since this weekend is Labor Day, we are going to try to plan something fun to do, like go to the lake or fishing or bowling or something. It was soooooo HUMID today, by far the most humid day we've had since we've been here. We also bought some new rims and tires for our Yukon so our 22's don't get rusted from the salt they put on the roads here. We got our new jetta licensed and Will loves that car. And I'm soooo glad we found it. He filled it up with gas today and it was 35.00. !!!!!! He said he was so excited he about cried . After filling up our Yukon (70.00) a pop, it's nice to have a little car to get better gas mileage. NE ways, hope all is well back in Utah!!! I know that the time is flying by already and I know it will go even faster when school starts. We will be home for Christmas in only a couple months!!! Love ya all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is a picture of the trail we were following at the park. It kinda feels like we were out hiking through the Beaver Mountains. Will loved it. He wants to bow hunt at the park in October.

This post is for DJ or anyone scared of spiders. That is a HUGE cobweb. They are all over in the trees here. YIKES. I would hate to see the spider that comes out of there!

This is the deer that walked in front of us on our hike. I couldn't believe how big of a body it had.

This is when we went on a little hike at Orion Oaks Park. It was beautiful. We saw lots of animals, white tail deer, and snakes. It was quite the little hike and we only went 1/8 of the way. The Park was HUGE. We are going to try to go back one of these days and hike a little further. It's pretty cool because in October they allow bow hunting in the park limits.

This is our finished master bathroom. It's kinda small so it was hard to get very much in a picture.

This is our finished bedroom!!!

Hey everybody!!! Wow, it's been a little while since I last wrote. Life is still going really great for us out here. We have been spending lots and lots of time together and it's been great. We have watched the Olympics every night for the past two weeks. I even got Will pretty interested in Gymnastics. I have orientation this week and I have mainly been trying to do my homework assignment for that. I was pretty frustrated the first day trying to figure out how to brief a case but I think I have the hang of it now. Well at least I hope. I guess I'll find out soon. Will is working for a painting business and he is enjoying it. He says he is learning a lot of different techniques. The other night we had a HUGE thunderstorm. It was so loud that I thought our glass windows were going to break and will counted from the lightning till the thunder to see how far away it was and he only made it to 1 before a huge roll of thunder came. It rained from 8 at night until 5 or 6 the next morning. I couldn't believe it. Now I know why its soooo green here. We are looking to get a little car that gets good gas mileage for Will to drive to work. Our Yukon is too expensive for how far he has to drive to work everyday. Will found a little VW Jetta we are trying to buy. We should know today if we can get it or not. Will went golfing with our neighbor Mike the other day and brought back like 90 golf balls he found on the course. I thought that was pretty amazing. He went golfing for like five hours and I got sooo much homework done while he was gone. Will cooked a really nice breakfast for us on Saturday. He made eggs, sausage, wheat pancakes, and some orange rolls. They are really good. I am in need of some good recipes for some desserts. I am getting bored with the ones I have so if anyone has one they want to share, please just put it on my blog and I will try it. Oh yeah, we found out we have beeen going to the wrong ward at church, so starting next week we will be in the Lake Orion Ward. We love you all and don't be strangers. We love to hear from you!!!!!!

This is our entry way from the front door. Will got that really cute plant holder from his Aunt Kathleen and the plant was left over from the old tenants so we put it to good use!!!

Super happy to be all unpacked!!

Will is making his Willavida Burrito here. They're right up there with Costa Vida!! But he doesn't make ranch so McCall please send me that yummy Lime Ranch Recipe. And they don't have Wild Coyote either!!!

Another pic of our living room. It's so big and roomy that Will can even practice his golf swing right in front of the TV!!!

This is our front room. We just put up our curtains tonight and it turned out really cute. The paint kind of looks yellow in the pictures but it's not at all. It's traditional tan and really really looks good.

This is our extra bathroom.

This is still our office. Notice the stack of books on the futon. Those are my books for school. 9 books for 9 credits and 700 bucks!!!

Another picture of our office.

This is our office we just barely finished decorating. It's really simple and really cute. This is the room that I bet I spend about 75% of my time the next couple months.

WOO-HOO OUR HOME IS FINALLY PUT TOGETHER!!!

Hey everyone!!! Today we finally finished unpacking and organizing our house. It's so so nice, we both just love it. It's super roomy so someone better get out here and visit us so we can put our office/guest room to better use. Today Will went for a job interview, but we have found out that most jobs out here are either just commission paying or you need a degree to get, but we haven't lost hope and faith just yet. A member of our Ward called Will tonight and told him about a couple job opportunities that could work out pretty well. We went to Bass Pro Shops today and the Great Lakes Crossing Mall. It was super fun. We just walked around. We ate dinner at the mall. They have these little Diners all over and they call them Koney's!!! It's kinda like Annie's or Mel's in Beaver. They're really good. The mall was really fun. Then we went for a drive to find Lake Angelus. It was down a dirt road for about five miles. There were these mile long beautiful driveways that lead to these huge homes that sit lake side. It was so pretty. We passed four lakes in just five miles of each other. This place is really unbelievable. We came home and took our beachcruisers for a cruise around our condo complex. Will rode his bike up a huge hill and came flying down in front of a car in typical Will fashion. The guy just waved and kept on driving. Everyone seems really nice here. We are planning on grillin on our bbq tomorrow and probably trying to find a lake to go to or something fun. Next week I am going to begin studying and doing homework and hopefully Will can find a job next week so this weekend is kinda like the last weekend of summer vacation. As we were driving into the Mall, Will saw a suv just like McCall n Brandons and said "oh hello McCall" it was funny cuz for a minute we both just thought it was and we were back in Utah but then we came back to Earth and realized we weren't!! I thought by now maybe Will and I would not be using Dylann talk so much but I think since we don't hear "okay das weird" and "sippy soup" everyday we say it more and more. I have been thinking a lot since we have been out here and I am so thankful for the Gospel and for Will and for our family and friends. It's still surreal that we are here living not just on a vacation. I was scared to death to drive out here but I just knew that it was something Will n I needed to do and I'm so thankful that we made it out here and I know everything will work out for us. We love each of you sooooo much and really do miss you but we are just so excited to visit at Christmas and to have you all come visit us. Take care and call anytime. We get bored late at night and would love to chit chat!!!!

What's Up!!!! So last night I stayed up until like two in the am watching the olympics. It was men's gymnastics and it was soooo good I couldn't turn off the TV!! I'm super excited cuz it's the women's gymnastics tonight. The only thing that stinks is Will n I are both still on mtn time instead of eastern time. So at like midnight it only feels like ten and at seven in the am it feels like 5!!!! Ne ways, today Will has been filling out some military job applications and I went for a jog around our little neighborhood. It's so beautiful here. I love it. It's really nice too because there is just the right amount of humidity so it's not too hot and you dont' get really sweaty. Other than that Will has cleaned out our garage and today is the first day we parked the Yukon in there. It's so humid here that every morning the Yukon looked like we had taken it through the car wash so Will would get up and dry it off and shine the rims. Pretty crazy!! I'm going to vacuum and clean my house today and get some updated pictures of our living room, bedroom, and the rest of the house on here. Will n I are going to try to go to the Detroit Temple either tonight or tomorrow and we also want to ride out to Lake Angelus to check it out. It's only about ten minutes from our house. We love you all and miss you. Oh yeah, today I get to go spend $800 on books for this semester!!! CRAZY HUH!!!!YIKES!!!

Okay so I've been working on getting some more pictures uploaded but I haven't had any luck just yet. So I am going to try again tomorrow. Well today was quite the eventful day. Will spent the day making a resume and calling employers looking for jobs. I spent the day cleaning our new house and trying to get the rest of the boxes unpacked. We went to Target to do some grocery shopping and while we were shopping it started to rain like crazy and the rain here in Michigan is so awesome. It's like a mist but it's really heavy and will drench you in like five minutes. It smells and looks so awesome after it rains here. I love it!!! We have been watching the Olympics everynight. Micheal Phelps is so awesome. We just can't wait to see what he can accomplish the next day. I'm getting really anxious to start school but a little nervous too. We got an invitation to go play soccer with some people from our ward tonight but we had to much to do. We also got invited to go play basketball with the ward on Saturday, so we might have to check that out. I am super grateful for the area in Michigan we live in. It's beautiful and the people are sooooo nice. We miss you all and love you and hope all is well back home in Utah!!!

This is me checking out our new green wall in our bedroom.
